The series includes introduction to the film, refreshments and a post-film discussion. This week features —Inside Job” (USA, 2010, documentary) This documentary provides a comprehensive analysis of the global financial crisis of 2008, which at a cost over $20 trillion, caused millions of people to lose their jobs and homes in the worst recession since the Great Depression, and nearly resulted in a global financial collapse. Rated PG-13 for some drug and sex-related material.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a social and networking, with the presentation to follow immediately at noon. Guest speakers will be Stephanie Spell, chief of the Community Engagement Department for the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, and Jim von Rinteln, emergency recovery coordinator for Collier County government.
The two will share information and techniques critical to successfully managing the most challenging situations.
