Paradise Coast Hurricane Irma Recovery Information

Updates on Conditions in Naples, Marco Island and Everglades City, Florida

The Paradise Coast is Clear! Naples and Marco Island beaches are as beautiful as ever and many of our hotels have reopened and are welcoming visitors.

Two beach resorts, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club and Edgewater Beach Hotel, are open now and the remainder of the area's beachfront hotels (with two exceptions) will be open by October 1st or 2nd. The power is on and most hotels, restaurants and shops are open and ready to welcome visitors.

The Ivey House Inn in Everglades City has reopened. The newer Inn portion came through the storm very well, however, the historic Ivy House Lodge and Cottage were seriously damaged. Parkway Motel on Chokoloskee Island plans to open October 1. Damage in the Everglades City area was significant. Watch this page for updates regarding availability of tours and other activities in the Everglades area.

Despite serious landscaping damage, Naples Botanical Garden will reopen October 1. The Naples Zoo is working hard to clear debris and make repairs, and plans to open October 14.  Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary remains closed as work continues to repair damage from downed trees. The Naples Pier is open to the halfway point. Damage at the west end of the pier is being evaluated for safety and will require some repairs.

The village of Goodland on Marco Island, Everglades City and Immokalee all had significant storm damage, but recovery is underway.
