Naples, Fla.- (March 1, 2011) - The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau recently won two awards from the annual North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) 2010 Awards Competition - a Silver Award for a new Destination Video and a Bronze Award for the 2010 Visitors Guide.

The Paradise Coast Destination Video highlights the visual beauty of the Paradise Coast and showcases footage capturing art and fine dining to beaches and nature preserves. Created by BCF, a brand communications firm in Virginia Beach, Va. that serves as the CVB's public relations agency of record, the two-minute video incorporates the region's natural wonders, geography and luxurious amenities to display the vast opportunities available to vacationers.

Developed by Miles Media, in Sarasota, Fla. in conjunction with the CVB and Paradise Advertising & Marketing, the Paradise Coast 2010 Visitors Guide is a 48-page booklet available both in print and online at ParadiseCoast.com. Throughout the guide, readers find area maps, contact information for local resorts, restaurants and golf courses as well as vignettes detailing some of the people and places that make the Paradise Coast a leading destination.

"We are continuously working to create new message platforms to entice travelers to spend their time with us in Southwest Florida's Paradise Coast," said Jack Wert, executive director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB. "To have both our Visitors Guide and destination video honored by NATJA is a testament to the destination, as well as to the high quality of work and creativity from our staff and strategic marketing partners."

NATJA is comprised of writers, photographers, and editors working in the travel industry. Its annual awards competition, now in its 19th year, honors the "best of the best" of both travel writing, photography and travel promotion submitted by travel journalists, travel magazines, public relations agencies and destination marketing organizations from the United States, Canada and Mexico.
