Explore the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge and Rookery Bay National Estuary Research Reserve to see manatee, dolphin, eagles, alligators and lots more wildlife in truly "Wild Florida." Enjoy spectacular views and create wonderful memories with your family and friends.

Directions: The headquarters office is co-located in the Comfort Inn at I-75, exit 101, behind the Cracker Barrel. On the third floor, visitors can see exhibits and pick up brochures about the Ten Thousand Islands and Florida Panther Refuges. They are located in different areas about 25 minutes away from the office.

Dates Closed: Note: Hunting is permitted on the refuge from late September to Janurary.

Hours: Navigable waterways open 24/7; Office is open weekdays from 8-4pm
