About the Lucky Couple

Princess and Gabriel met through an AmeriCorps program one summer doing work at a Cincinnati nonprofit. After losing her father and caring for a disabled mother, Princess admitted she hadn't been looking for love, but found it, nonetheless, in Gabriel as they spent more and more time working together. Less than a year into the relationship, Gabriel proposed one June evening in 2008. Their education and passion for public service, however, has remained their priority. With the debt they accumulated though, they knew they had little chance at a wedding in the company of their beloved friends and family. Read more.
