Opera Naples is one of the leading arts organizations on Florida’s Paradise Coast, renowned world-wide for their amazing performances. Their annual outdoor event known as “Festival Under the Stars” – running from March 21 to April 5 this year – is one that shouldn’t be missed. Best of all, you don’t have to be an opera lover to enjoy it!
Conducted by Ramón Tebar featuring the Naples Festival Orchestra, the event also highlights four up-and-coming resident artists along with some of the world’s best international opera artists. All performances will take place at Cambier Park.

The festival lineup features:
Carmen, March 28 and 30: Part of this year’s ¡Arte Viva! festival celebrating Hispanic arts and culture, this beloved opera by Georges Bizet is set in the Spanish countryside. It burns with the passion of the gypsy girl Carmen, a love-struck soldier and a handsome bullfighter. Maestro Ramón Tebar conducts the Naples Festival Orchestra with the Opera Naples chorus and an international cast in this fully stage production.
Zarzuela and Flamenco, March 29: Another highlight of the Paradise Coast’s ¡Arte Viva! festival, this evening celebrates the lush, romantic melodies of classic Spanish Zarzuela and authentic Spanish Flamenco. Mezzo soprano Maria Antúnez and tenor Martin Nusspaumer will perform exhilarating arias and duets accompanied by Maestro Ramón Tebar on piano.
A Night at the Opera, April 2: Resident artists with Opera Naples join the full Southwest Florida Symphony for an evening of classical performances and popular arias featuring world-renowned guest performers.
Frida, April 4-5: One of premier events of this year’s ¡Arte Viva! festival, this revered opera celebrates the life and legacy of famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
