Sypert Salon Chamber Music - Beethoven and Mendelssohn at Artis--Naples

Some musical pairings are nothing short of sublime, and this program proves it. Although Mendelssohn never had the opportunity to meet Beethoven, the brilliant younger composer was heavily influenced by the musical titan. This performance by musicians of the Naples Philharmonic features two chamber masterpieces for strings: Beethoven’s String Trio No. 2 in D Major, Op. 9, No.2, and Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in E Minor, Op. 44, No. 2.
