South Collier Market

On Sunday, November 5th, 2023 from 9am-1pm, South Collier Market will re-open at its new location Florida Southwestern State College/Collier Campus, 7505 Grand Lely Drive in Naples. Florida Blue will be handing out 100 blue reuseable market bags to the first 100 customers. After outgrowing its space last year at Rookery Bay, South Collier Market has negotiated a larger space and much needed parking at Florida Southwestern State College. This market will feature food trucks and 70 tents of beautiful SWFL produce, bakeries, artisan foods, jewelry, clothing, local artists and photography, specialty items and gifts. The market will be held weekly through April 15, but closed for campus holidays on 11/25, 12/24 and 12/31. Vendor information and applications may be found at 41markets.com Shop Local Productions has operated farmers markets in SWFL since 2015, helping hundreds of small businesses. Before Hurricane Ian SLP operated 5 farmers markets all of which were voted Neighborhood Favorites by Locals on nextdoor.com. Four markets were decimated by Hurricane Ian displacing about 200 small businesses and artists. Only 1% of these businesses qualified for any SBA or hurricane relief assistance so SLP scrambled to open 3 new markets last year while donating $5000 each to St. Matthew's House and Friends of Rookery Bay in Collier County. Only 1 market of the 3 survived.
