Calusa Days Festival

Come celebrate cultural history at this free and fun outdoor event, Calusa Days. Discover how the fascinating Ten Thousand Islands have shaped many lives, going back to and even before the days of the Calusa tribe. Find interesting activities and engaging demonstrations at various outdoor locations on the park grounds. Hear a talk from the Public Archeology Network at 11 a.m. on Ancient Stargazing; and from local author Marya Repko from 1 to 2 p.m.as she shares from her new book "The Story of Barron Collier." There will be other demonstrations and activities. To take a canoe paddling trip with a park ranger, call the Gulf Coast Visitor Center at 239-695-3311 to reserve a spot.
