Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana presents Tablao Flamenco at Artis--Naples

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana showcases the pride and power of flamenco in Tablao Flamenco, featuring an international cast of dancers and musicians. Named after the wooden floor used by a bailaor/a (dancer), tablaos are intimate venues that harness the highly improvisational and virtuosic nature of flamenco. Originally known as cafés cantantes, which became popular during the mid-19th century in Spain, tablaos are still among the most popular places to see flamenco. Tablao performances offer audiences a rare opportunity to experience the dynamic interplay of emotions between the dancers, guitarist and singer as they inspire one another, enjoying the freedom to take risks and embrace spontaneity.
