The Kids' Fishing Clinic is a one day educational event conducted by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County Foundation, with the help of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). The primary goal of this program is to create responsible marine resource stewards by teaching children about Florida's marine ecosystems and ethical angling skills. The Clinic also teach fundamental saltwater fishing knowledge and skills while promoting a positive fishing experience.

Registration is free and sign up starts at 9 a.m. and continues through Noon. The clinic ends at 1 p.m. Kids must go through five educational skill sessions - tackle, touch tank, casting, knot tying and good angler - then it's time for them to fish from the pier with the help of many dedicated volunteers.
