Wear your green and enjoy the revelry of the 40th annual Naples St. Patrick's Day Parade, followed by an all-day celebration with live music at Sugden Plaza on Fifth Avenue South.

Forty years ago a group of fun-loving Neapolitan’s got together and decided to have a parade to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Through the hard work of many volunteers and the generous support of patrons, the parade has prospered in the decades since. It is now the largest privately-funded Parade in the state. It draws over 40,000 people to downtown Naples each year to celebrate Irish heritage and Irish culture in America. The parade is sponsored by the the Naples St. Patrick foundation, a non-profit charitable organization.

You can start the day at The Dock at Crayton Cove at 9:30 a.m. with the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade Flag Raising Ceremony.

Parade Route: The parade will start on 10th Avenue South, go north on 3rd Street South to Fifth Avenue South, then east to 8th Street South.

Parking: The city suggests parking in the two downtown parking garages. Plan to arrive early.

Road closures: 5th Avenue South will be closed 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 3rd Avenue will be closed 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
