St. Patrick's Day Parade on Fifth
March 14, 2020
Per recommendations from the Public Health Department to avoid large gatherings to help slow the spread of COVID-19 has prompted the City of Naples to cancel the St. Patrick's Day Parade this coming Saturday.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is March 14 on Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples starting at 11:00 AM. A little over 40 years ago a group of fun-loving Neapolitans got together and decided to have a parade to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Through the hard work of many volunteers and the generous support of patrons, the parade has prospered in the decades since. The parade is now the largest privately-funded parade in the state.
It draws over 40,000 people to downtown Naples each year to celebrate Irish heritage and Irish culture in America.
