The need for food right here in our backyard is very evident and we could not serve thousands without the help of our gracious volunteers!
As the need continues to rise, so are helping hands to prepare the food we receive to be ready for delivery. A typical 3-hour volunteering shift includes packing bulk produce, such as: cucumbers, peppers, squash, eggplant, tomatoes etc. into bags to be then delivered to our 60 mobile food pantries, as well as our 150 partner organizations.
It is a very fun, and heart fulfilling time where we connect with others in our community and all work together in the fight to end hunger.
We have two shifts available: 8:30-11:30 am and 12-3pm Monday through Friday at either of our warehouses: Fort Myers or Naples.
