Speaker Bio: Jessica Sutt holds an MS in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences and an Environmental Communications certificate from the University of Florida, where her human dimensions research focused on management of the goliath grouper fishery as well as climate change education. Since completing her studies and a simultaneous U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service internship in 2014, Jessica has served as Wildlife Refuge Specialist for Florida Panther and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuges in the Naples area. As a Wildlife Refuge Specialist, Jessica has spent the last 5 years in diverse roles of manager, biologist, educator, and administrator at the two Refuges. She has been thrilled to put her human dimensions passions to use by educating about apex predators and large carnivores like the Florida panther and its interactions with people on the road to recovery.
