Chubb Classic seeking more than 700 volunteers for PGA Tour Champions February 2020 Event
NAPLES, Fla. – Volunteer registration is now open to support the 2020 Chubb Classic. Returning to The Classics Country Club at Lely Resort from February 10-16, 2020, the PGA TOUR Champions event is seeking more than 700 volunteers to fill a variety of roles such as hospitality, marshals and transportation.
“For the past 33 years, the Chubb Classic has become an integral part of the Naples community,” said Kevin Diaz, Tournament Director of the Chubb Classic. “We owe much of our success to the time and dedication of our 700-plus volunteers.”
Volunteers will be able to access the registration page on the brand new Chubb Classic website. The new mobile-friendly website was designed to give visitors access to a variety of tournament resources from their smartphones and tablets. Upon registering, volunteers will have the opportunity to select their preferred committee and shift times. The full list of the volunteer committees can be found here.
The $65 volunteer package is inclusive of one tournament branded golf shirt, one tournament branded outerwear, a choice of a visor or hat, four weekly tickets, free lunch during volunteer shifts and weekly grounds access with a volunteer badge to the tournament grounds. Volunteers will also receive an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party following the tournament. Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to register early since committees and shift times are filled on a first come, first served basis.
