Copperheads Rugby League Football Club to host Sept. 9 International Club Challenge against Australia’s Coogee Wombats

Naples, Fla. (September 9, 2022) — On Friday, September 9, the Copperheads Rugby League Football Club (RLFC) will host the Coogee Randwick Wombats, an Australian rugby league football team, in the International Club Challenge. 

The International Club Challenge will be played on the Copperheads’ home field at Paradise Coast Sports Complex, 3565 City Gate Blvd. South in Naples. Fans are urged to wear white in support of the Copperheads. Commemorative shirts will be available for purchase at the gate. Gates open at 6:00p.m. EDT with kickoff at 7:00p.m. EDT. 

Based in Coogee, New South Wales and Randwick, New South Wales (a suburb of south-central Sydney), the Wombats play in the New South Wales Rugby League (NWSRL) Competition.

General Admission is $10, reserved seating is $20 and the Party Deck Suite add-on is a $40 ticket upgrade per person which allows fans access to the air-conditioned suite, its buffet and cash bar access for the duration of the event. The VIP food and beverage experience on the party deck includes drink specials including four-dollar Coronas and a full selection at the private bar, and buffet to include a taco bar with various accouterments.
