November at Marco Island Center for the Arts features Music, Art, and Bourbon Tasting

October 20, 2023 Marco Island, Florida – The Marco Island Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce a spectacular lineup of events for the upcoming month of November. From musical interludes to a bourbon-tasting extravaganza, the Art Center promises an exciting and culturally enriching experience for all attendees.

 

Musical Interludes with Terra Guitarra Nuevo Flamenco Guitar Duo

Prepare for an enchanting evening of music as Terra Guitarra comprised of Master guitarist Bruce Hecksel and Julie Patchouli, take the stage. Terra Guitarra is celebrated as "one of the top nuevo-flamenco groups in the world," by Zone Music Reporter. With three internationally chart-topping albums, including the ZMR Award-winning "Best Instrumental Album of the Year 2017," Of Sea & Stars, Terra Guitarra promises to mesmerize the audience.

This event is more than just music; it is a journey through blazing Spanish and world guitar instrumentals, heartfelt lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, and epic folk rock anthems. The chemistry between Bruce Hecksel and singer-songwriter Julie Patchouli is undeniable and guarantees an inspiring and uplifting night that will leave you wanting to pick up your guitar again.

 

In addition to the concert, Bruce Hecksel will be the featured artist in November's La Petite Galerie exhibition, running from November 6 to November 21. This exhibition will run alongside the Natural Elements Exhibition in the main gallery, with second Tuesday gallery reception featuring participating artists on Tuesday, November 14, from 5 pm to 7 pm. This reception is open to the community at no charge.

 

Bourbon-America’s Native Spirit Bourbon Tasting – To benefit Marco Island Center for the Arts
