Taking stock of a seemingly endless season in Southwest Florida

Gulfshore Business - The influx of visitors has translated to booming metrics that measure tourism all around the region. Occupancy rates and average daily rates help tell the tale of tourism: In Collier County, hotels achieved occupancy rates of 67%, 78% and 78% in January, February and March, respectively. That was up 1.6% in January, up 13% in February and down 3.7% in March.  The average daily rate grew by 39%, 43% and 28% during those three months when compared to 2021. The daily rates stood at $493 by the end of March, according to statistics gathered by Collier County’s Paradise Coast visitor and convention bureau.  Read the story here:
