Kick off the holiday season on Third Street South, full of twinkly lights and wonderful red and silver decorations, as the mayor of Naples lights the official Christmas tree. Music and bells resound from every courtyard and plaza; Santa arrives; and the “snow” falls, which it continues to do every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m. during Thanksgiving week and every Thursday at 7 p.m. in December.
Gather for a Village tradition as you watch the twinkling procession of boats making their way through Venetian Bay. Enjoy live entertainment, a “snow” show, face painting, balloon art, holiday carolers, stories with Mrs. Claus and a special appearance by Santa.
The holidays come to life as more than 70 musicians (ranging in age from 11 to 80) ring in the season on tubas, euphoniums and more at this annual event. Bring a chair and your best singing voice, and head to the Sugden Plaza for an unforgettable performance.
