Canoeing down the Blackwater River goes through one of the largest mangrove forests in the world.Red Shouldered Hawks are often seen in the park.The historic Bay City Walking Dredge helped build the Tamiami Trail highway in the 1920s.The mountain bike trail includes a variety of natural habitats. Look for panther or bear tracks on the dirt path.
