The 2,512-acre Pepper Ranch Preserve is offers hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails and a campground. Located on the shores of Lake Trafford, it is home to many species of native wildlife. The preserve is open to the public on all Fridays and on non-hunt Saturdays and Sundays from November- June from 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. for hiking, picnicking, bird-watching and other activities and overnights for camping. The preserve will be closed on hunting weekends for safety reasons. Be sure to check the website for trail conditions.
