Stepping Stone Ecotours
Our expert guides will teach you how the Everglades were formed. You will learn about the early native Americans as well as notable pioneers and recent area events. Then you'll take a 1 1/4 mile walk through one of the most dense areas of the region known as "The Amazon of the North" on a safe, dry, boardwalk setting where you'll experience nature at her finest in a habitat occupied by panthers and black bears; where cypress trees and royal palms grow side-by-side as not seen anywhere else in the world; where alligators, herons, egrets and eagles make their homes. Hear about the plans in effect to preserve this pristine wonderland.
