Naples Beaches

CLAM PASS BEACH PARK

This park is a beautiful beach access point in the North Naples area, ideal for family days out and about. It’s the perfect place to go fishing or paddling on the calm waters of Clam Pass. The 35-acre park boasts a preserved coastal habitat along with a three-quarter-mile boardwalk through a mangrove forest to a sandy beach.

The Clam Pass Boardwalk and Nature Trail is an opportunity to observe marine life, coastal birds, and butterflies on the way to the beach. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida offers guided nature walks, Monday through Saturday, from December through April with no reservation required! There are also complimentary tram tours that depart at 9 am every day.

Visitors to the park will find a snack bar, restrooms and bike racks for their convenience.

For more information, visit Clam Pass Beach Park.

VANDERBILT BEACH

Located close to area hotels, restaurants and shopping, this popular North Naples beach is an excellent spot to enjoy shelling, paddle boarding, bird watching, and other outdoor activities. Restrooms and showers are conveniently located near the parking area. The concession stand is the perfect spot to rent beach equipment, chairs, and cabanas; however, food and drinks are not sold. You’ll find restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

For more information, visit Vanderbilt Beach.

KEEWAYDIN ISLAND

Keewaydin Island is a barrier island between Naples and Marco Island with nearly eight miles of pristine white sand beach. About 80% of the island is undeveloped. You'll find no commercial development on Keewaydin - only private homes. This barrier island can only be accessed by boat, making it the perfect place for those who appreciate a secluded adventure. In addition, it's the only pet-friendly beach in the Naples and Marco Island area.

Take a trip to the beach on Hemingway Water Shuttle, which departs seven times daily for drop-offs and pick-ups to the island. The shuttle is perfect for both humans and pups, as well-behaved leashed dogs can ride, too.

You can rent a boat to explore Keewaydin from one of the many marinas in the area. You can also take a sightseeing trip that stops at the island for beach walking, shelling, or just general relaxation. Due to the pristine, undeveloped nature of Keewaydin Island, no restrooms are available.

For more information, visit Keewaydin Island.

LOWDERMILK PARK ON NAPLES BEACH

Lowdermilk Park is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. It has a children's playground, sand volleyball courts, picnic tables, and restroom and shower facilities.

For more information, visit Lowdermilk Park.

NAPLES BEACH

A 10-mile-long stretch of beach located near the iconic Naples Pier, Naples Beach is the perfect place to spend a day with family and friends.

There are public access points with limited parking at the west end of most downtown avenues. Parking can be paid for at the meters, but beach admission is free.

For more information, visit Naples Beach.

Only a portion of the Naples Pier is currently open due to the damage from Hurricane Ian in 2022.  A reconstruction plan is in place to restore the pier to its former glory.

DELNOR-WIGGINS PASS STATE PARK

Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park has reopened for limited day use activities. Some areas of the park remain closed. Beach access and the boat ramp is operational. Collier County offers a complimentary beach shuttle service to the park and parking is available at Conner Park, a short, walkable distance away. There are no concessions available currently. For the most up-to-date information, please visit: Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park.

8TH AVENUE SOUTH BEACH ACCESS & WEDDING PARK

The public beach access at Eighth Avenue South in downtown Naples is famous for weddings, which is why it’s often called Wedding Beach or Wedding Park. The park features attractive brick pavers that provide space for seating, along with lush landscaping and picturesque views that provide the perfect backdrop for your big day.

Parking is available at the adjoining beach ends but cannot be reserved. As a result, most wedding parties shuttle guests in from other locations such as 12th Avenue South and Third Street South. There are also nearby public garages on 8th Street South.

For more information, visit Eighth Avenue South.

Marco Island Beaches

SOUTH MARCO BEACH ACCESS

The South Marco Beach Access is one of two public beach access points on Marco Island. The location makes it perfect for families who want to go shelling, fishing or watch dolphins playing in the surf. The firmer sand near the water makes it ideal for a walk, jog, or bike ride. Sunsets are spectacular, and it's the perfect place to relax with lots of room to spread out.

There are plenty of opportunities to rent watercraft, including wave runners and kayaks. If you’re looking to take the fun to new heights, try parasailing. Beach access points are well-maintained and have foot washing stations at the entrances, along with children's life jackets you can borrow.

Parking and restroom facilities are located on Swallow Avenue. They are a short walk across South Collier Blvd. to the beach. For more information, visit South Marco Beach.

TIGERTAIL BEACH PARK

Tigertail Beach Park is a must-see for bird lovers and those looking to take in some breathtaking sunsets. The 32-acre barrier island is one of the world's most important habitats for wintering and nesting shorebirds, making it an ideal destination for spotting wildlife. In fact, the Great Florida Birding Trail Guide lists this area as one of the best all-around locations for birdwatchers in Southwest Florida. A tidal lagoon separates this beach from Big Marco Pass Critical Wildlife Area, known as Sand Dollar Spit. The lagoon is a haven for wildlife, and is home to horseshoe crabs, needlefish, Florida fighting conchs, and more.

To get to the beach, you have two options: Wade through shallow lagoon water or walk around the south side.

You'll find restrooms, a picnic area with tables and grills and a children’s playground. Parking is available for a fee for those without a beach parking permit.

For more information, visit Tigertail Beach Park.
