Holiday Market and 70th Anniversary Celebration at Corkscrew

All are invited to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary's festive Holiday Market and 70th Anniversary Celebration on December 8, 2024. Plan your holiday shopping at the Nature Store to find unique, nature-inspired gifts while sipping on refreshments and meeting local vendors.  We're also featuring activities for the entire family, including crafts and face painting for kids, guided tours, special Sanctuary "sleigh rides" in the back country, and more!

Schedule of events:

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Free introductory guided tours on the boardwalk (first come, first served)

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Crafts for kids and animal face painting

10:00 a.m.  - 3:00 p.m.  Holiday photo booth, meet local vendors 

11:00 a.m.   Storytime for children with local author Susan Levine

11:00 a.m.  - 12:00 p.m.    or    12:30 - 1:30 p.m. or   2:00 - 3:00 p.m.  " Sanctuary "Sleigh Rides"   (requires pre-registration)

1:00 - 2:00 p.m.  Live Holiday Music:  Guitar, with percussion instruments that kids can play along with

Regular admission applies.  "Sleigh rides" can be purchased for an extra fee when you purchase your admission ticket.  The event will take place between 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., with last admission at 1:00p.m.  We hope to see you here!
