The First Thanksgiving Family Program at Marco Island Historical Museum
Did you know the first Thanksgiving was celebrated in St. Augustine, Florida in 1565 by the Spanish and Timucuan natives? Drop-in between 10AM and 1PM with the kids and grandkids to enjoy classic Thanksgiving crafts, but with a Florida twist! We'll be learning about what they would have eaten at Florida's first Thanksgiving and have hands-on activities related to colonial Florida history. Ideal for preschool and elementary-aged students.
