Activities will challenge high level balance, coordination, agility endurance and strength movement patterns involve rocking, turning, reaching, and stepping. This class is designed for members with Parkinson's and care partners who are looking for a more rigorous workout. Evidence suggests that vigorous exercise may have a neuroprotective effect for individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). Our group movement classes provide a flexible, functional approach to exercise, addressing multiple symptoms and adapting to varying levels of disease severity. Movement is a crucial component of living well with PD.
