The US Open National Pickleball Center: A Premier Pickleball Destination
If you're headed to Florida’s Paradise Coast with a paddle in your suitcase, you're not alone. Thanks to the US Open National Pickleball Center, Naples, Marco Island and the Everglades has been firmly established as one of the best pickleball destinations in Florida. From beginners to pro-level pickleballers, this facility delivers one of the most complete experiences in the country, anchored by a championship-level setting and a year-round calendar of activity.
A Facility Unlike Any Other
Located in East Naples Community Park, the US Open National Pickleball Center is a true hub for the sport. With 65 lighted courts organized by skill level, it’s a top choice for those researching where to play pickleball in Florida. Courts are grouped into beginner (1.0–2.5), intermediate (3.0 and 3.5), and advanced (4.0 and 4.5+) categories, with dedicated teaching courts and a practice wall available for drills. Access to the 4.0+ courts is limited to verified players. Anyone not meeting these requirements can schedule a formal rating session with the coaching staff.
The center offers private and semi-private lessons, skills clinics, and drill sessions for those new to the sport or looking to level up. Certified coaches are on hand to help sharpen technique and improve strategy, whether you're learning first-shot drops or fine-tuning your double-handed backhand.

How to Play Here
First-time visitors looking to play pickleball at the US Open National Pickleball Center should begin at the Welcome Center. Here, staff can help you purchase a daily drop-in pass or sign up for an annual membership. A drop-in pass costs $10 and grants access to the courts for the day.
Annual membership, available for $100 per calendar year, includes added benefits, including early afternoon reservation access, unlimited morning play during member-only hours, and a 10% discount on all pro shop purchases. Members also receive a $25 Wilson merchandise credit and can rent demo paddles for free. Non-members may rent demo paddles for $5. Once you’ve secured your access, head to the courts that match your current skill level.
The Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Powered by Margaritaville
Each April, the US Open National Pickleball Center transforms into the headquarters for the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Powered by Margaritaville. For example, in 2025, more than 3,450 athletes and over 55,000 spectators attended, including fans from all 50 states and 40 countries.
The 2025 event also marked a historic moment for the sport: the competitive debut of tennis legend Andre Agassi, who partnered with world #1 Anna Leigh Waters. Spectators enjoyed access to the redesigned Zing Zang Championship Court, the newly introduced Baldwin Wellness Center, and the expanded Vendor Village, along with food vendors and live music each afternoon.
General admission to the tournament is free. Championship Court matches require a ticket, available through a lottery system or on-site purchase. Premium ticket holders can upgrade to a VIP package, which includes access to the Margaritaville VIP Club, reserved seating, complimentary food and beverages, and Premier parking.
