FREE Admission at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary September 20

As part of this free event, guests are invited to connect with nature through the eyes of two local Latinas: artist Lisette Morales will lead a bilingual walking meditation on the boardwalk, and Helen Midney, Museum Manager for the Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch, will give a presentation about bird migration and conservation. Kids can also enjoy learning about birds while having their faces painted like one.  Throughout the day, visitors are encouraged to explore the old-growth bald cypress forest and other habitats along the boardwalk.

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is the gateway to the largest old-growth bald cypress in North America, accessible via a 2.25-mile boardwalk, and offers numerous ways to enjoy nature, including guided experiences. Audubon’s Blair Visitor Center and boardwalk, located at 375 Sanctuary Road W. in Naples, are open daily at 8 a.m. with the last admission at 1 p.m. The Center offers a Nature Store with many locally made products and gifts, with snacks and beverages also available for purchase. Regular admission is $17 for adults, $6 for kids 6-14, and free for children and members.
