As Veterans Day approaches, Friends of Rookery Bay reminds the public that active and retired military personnel and up to five family members are free year-round at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center.
The two-story nature center features aquariums, touch tanks, interactive exhibits, nature trails, picnic area, three loops of trails, a butterfly garden, an art gallery and a nature-themed gift shop. The Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center is located at 300 Tower Road in Naples. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
