Car show and craft fair on Nov. 15
NAPLES (Nov. 3) – The 7th Annual Rookery Bay Classic Car Show and Craft Fair presented by Carter Fence will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the FSW campus, 7505 Grand Lely Drive, Naples. The event will showcase more than 100 classic, muscle, hot rod and exotic cars as well as more than 25 arts, crafts and food vendors. WINK News Meteorologist Nikki Sheaks will serve as Celebrity Judge. The vendors include Sunshine Shipper license plates, Fire & Ice Designs freshies, Hemp Joi of Southwest Florida health and beauty products, Emma’s Loaded Teas, and LuxeLife Florida bags and accessories. There will also be young entrepreneurs from the Biz Kidz organization selling their clothing, handbags, pet products, engraved items, slime, food treats and other creations. Food trucks include Gator Creek BBQ, Hoppy Homestead, The Gelato Truck Dolcé and Cafe, and Farmers Corn Latin Cuisine.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 4-12. It includes same-day admission to the nearby Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, which features aquariums, touch tanks, exhibits, trails, a butterfly garden, art gallery and gift shop.
This year’s presenting sponsor is Carter Fence. Proceeds from the event benefit education, research and stewardship programs in the 110,000-acre Rookery Bay Research Reserve, which encompasses 40 percent of Collier County’s coastline.
