BACKYARD BASH RETURNS TO CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NAPLES
Published on August 15, 2025
NAPLES, Florida (August 15, 2025) – Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) is thrilled to announce the return of Backyard Bash on Saturday, November 7, 2025. Hosted by Annie Griffo and committee, this event begins at 6:00 p.m. at CMON and raises funds in support of CMON’s Access-for-All initiative.
Presented by Ave Maria Development, Backyard Bash invites attendees to relive the joy of childhood with oversized backyard games and dancing to live music under the stars. The evening also featured exciting prize giveaways, adding to the festive atmosphere. Enjoy dinner from local food trucks, a curated beer and wine beverage selection, live music, and chances to win exciting prizes. Dinner from local food trucks will be provided by MAMBO, Gator Creek BBQ, Sweet Cheesus, and Tipsy Udder.
All funds raised go to bolstering the CMON’s access programs, which include providing $3 admission and $30 memberships to families eligible for food assistance programs like SNAP, EBT, and WIC. Over the past year, more than 25,000 discounted admissions were provided through this program, making up 13% of the museum’s total attendance. The event also supports the library access program allowing up to four passes to be checked out for free from all libraries in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, and Hendry counties, equating to 23,000 free admissions per year.
This event is open to adults 21+ years and older. Sponsorship information can be found online at https://www.cmon.org/events/backyard/. Contact Kayla Garrison at kgarrison@cmon.org or 239-260-1707 for details.

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples
A 501(C)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 2002, Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted to children and families. CMON is a two-story, 30,000 square foot cultural institution with hands-on and fully accessible exhibits developed by experts in child psychology, including 8,000 square feet of outdoor play space. With hands-on exhibits, the accessible museum invites children and their caregivers to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become weather forecasters, farmers, chefs, artists, architects, veterinarians or anything else they can imagine. They will experience the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day, special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new, and make memories. CMON provides an exciting, inspiring environment where children and their families play, learn, and dream together.
