GOLISANO CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NAPLES ANNOUNCES JAMIE COLE

Published on May 23, 2026

NAPLES, Florida (April 23, 2026) – Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) is pleased to announce the hiring of Jamie Cole as its new Museum Education Manager. Cole officially began his role in April 2026.

In this position, Cole will oversee all in-museum and outreach educational experiences, lead the Education team, and play a key role in developing and implementing engaging, programming for children and families. He will support a wide range of programs, including classroom experiences, camps, workshops, and daily educational activities within museum exhibits, while collaborating closely with museum leadership to ensure every visitor enjoys a meaningful, play-based learning experience.

He brings a passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering curiosity and creativity in children. Inspired by the opportunity to help young learners grow through play, he is dedicated to creating environments where children can experience impactful “aha!” moments every day.

A memorable childhood experience visiting Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, North Carolina helped shape Cole’s passion for interactive learning. That early exposure to hands-on exhibits continues to influence his approach today, as he works to bring that same sense of wonder to children in Southwest Florida.

“We are so excited to add an educator with the skills, talent and enthusiasm Jamie has to the CMON team,” said CEO Jonathan Foerster. “His experience working in Lee County Schools, plus his entrepreneurial mindset will bring value to our organization and help us to continue bringing outstanding educational experiences to our community.”

About Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a nonprofit, brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum dedicated to children and families learning through play. Through immersive, hands-on exhibit galleries, CMON invites visitors of all ages to explore, imagine, and discover together.

Guests can journey through the swamps of the Everglades, climb a towering banyan tree, or experiment with interactive water play. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, or an artist; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized.

In addition to exhibits, CMON offers a wide range of educational programs, classes, camps, and special events designed to support creativity, curiosity, and early learning. Later this year, CMON will open a new Early Learning Center, expanding the museum’s impact by providing high-quality early childhood education for young learners.
