Marco Island, FL – April 24, 2026, Get ready for a night of suspense, laughter, and island intrigue as the Marco Island Center for the Arts’ Arts Center Theatre proudly presents Marco Midnight, the latest theatrical work from local playwright and director Mitch Eil. This highly anticipated production will run May 7, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17, 2026.

Marco Midnight marks the third installment in Eil’s beloved series of stories set on Marco Island, once again featuring the charismatic and clever private investigator Dan Paradise. Known for weaving local charm with engaging storytelling, Eil delivers another entertaining chapter filled with mystery, wit, and unexpected twists.

In this latest adventure, Dan Paradise is drawn into a puzzling case when a family uncovers a mysterious letter while settling their parents’ estate. The letter hints at a hidden fortune tucked away somewhere within one of Marco Island’s luxurious beachfront condominiums. Teaming up with Martin Prince and an energetic accomplice, Dan embarks on a treasure hunt that quickly spirals into a whirlwind of comedic mishaps and escalating tension.

As clues unfold and stakes rise, the trio must navigate both the absurd and the dangerous, encountering an unforeseen—and possibly life-threatening—obstacle along the way. Blending lighthearted humor with edge-of-your-seat suspense, Marco Midnight promises audiences a thoroughly entertaining evening at the theatre.

The production features a talented cast of local performers, including Betsy Greenblatt as Sarah Klasczewski, Mitch Frank as Martin Prince, Patrick Huey as Dan Paradise, Yvonne Palmer as Eva Dadekian, and Gregg Birr as Whitey Tchopimoff—each bringing vibrant energy and personality to this dynamic ensemble.

“This production is a love letter to Marco Island,” says Eil. “It’s filled with familiar settings, colorful characters, and a story that keeps audiences guessing while making them laugh.”
