NAPLES (Oct. 15, 2026) – Membership in the Friends of Rookery Bay at the Family level and higher now includes free or discounted admission to more than 2,000 venues throughout North America, the nonprofit organization recently announced. Family membership is $100 and includes unlimited free admission to the two-story nature center with walking trails and ecotours in East Naples.

Friends of Rookery Bay already belonged to the North American Reciprocal Museum Association, which has 1500 locations, and the Association of Nature Center Administrators, with 180 centers. Friends of Rookery Bay has now joined the American Horticultural Society, which has 400 gardens.

“Membership in the Friends of Rookery Bay pays for itself with just a couple of visits to our nature center, other venues in Southwest Florida, and many places that people live or visit,” said TJ Snopkowski, Friends of Rookery Bay executive director.

Local venues participating in one of the three reciprocal programs include the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Revs Institute, Naples Art Association, The Baker Museum, Artis-Naples, Calusa Nature Center in Ft. Myers, Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs, and Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers.

Friends of Rookery Bay family level membership is $100 and includes a 10 percent discount in Rookery Bay’s nature store along with other perks. The full list of all reciprocal locations and benefits can be found at rookerybay.org/membership or call 239-530-5972. Gift memberships are available.
