GULFSHORE PLAYHOUSE ANNOUNCES FLEX PASS SALES FOR 2024-2025 SEASON
Naples, FL—Kristen Coury, Founder, CEO, & Producing Artistic Director, today announced dramatically higher flex pass subscription sales for the 2024-2025 season, the first in the new Baker Theatre and Education Center.
The campaign has thus far brought in revenue of almost $1,270,000 as compared to $370,000 in the prior year, a 245% increase. Gulfshore Playhouse offers flex pass packages for all of its season’s professional productions. The packages range in size from three-ticket flex pass packages up to fourteen-ticket packages. Additionally, patrons can select a $25 VIP upgrade for a cabaret table seat during the production of Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill. Overwhelmingly, the fourteen-ticket VIP packages has been the biggest seller.
Coury said “We are delighted by the increased interest and participation in Gulfshore Playhouse productions. The opening of our new iconic theatre and education center is so thrilling, and to see the response from the community in these purchases is a huge indicator for our success. Our supporters have shown by their purchases that they are excited about our new season. We are grateful to our patrons for their strong support of Gulfshore Playhouse, and I look forward to welcoming them to our new home this fall.”
Flex Passes will be available until November 1, 2024.
In support of the opening of the new building, Gulfshore Playhouse has increased the staff to a team of 75, from last season’s 50. Because of this workforce growth and the economic impact the Playhouse will generate, Gulfshore Playhouse received an appropriation in the state’s annual budget. Despite Governor DeSantis’ veto of all organizations found eligible for the General Program Support Grant through the Division of Arts and Culture, Gulfshore Playhouse received $2.5 million appropriation toward the Next Stage Campaign.
