Join Marco Island Center for the Arts for an Unforgettable Evening: ‘Oh What a Night’ Annual Fundraiser featuring Headline Performance by "The Modern Gentlemen"
January 4, 2025, Marco Island: Don’t miss out on the event of the year! Join us for "Oh What a Night: Dinner and a Show" on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Island Country Club. Secure your tickets today and be part of an unforgettable evening supporting the arts! This year’s event offers a new twist on the typical gala, featuring an electrifying performance by The Modern Gentlemen. If you have seen Frankie Valli in concert anywhere around the world over the past decade or so you have experienced the remarkable talent of these “four seasoned” gentlemen that appeared with him at every show. Valli has frequently commented that “these guys are the best singers I have ever worked with.” Now known as The Modern Gentlemen, they are selling out concert venues around the world with their outstanding talent and repertoire. Their Oh What a Night performance will include a dynamic reimagining of classic chart-topping hits from some of the greatest musical legends of all time, including Motown hits, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Eagles, Queen, The Bee Gees, Billy Joel, and Doo Wop.
The Art Center is excited to present this unique program in conjunction with its celebration of the contributions of Michael and Vicki Hook, whose dedication to fostering a love for the arts and unwavering support of the Art Center has been instrumental in advancing its programs. Topping off the well-deserved recognition of the Hooks and the chance to experience The Modern Gentlemen’s breathtaking harmonies, Event chairpersons Christine and Donald Koppel and Cynthia and Stanley Springer are excited to present an exclusively curated collection of items to be included in both silent and live auctions.
Event proceeds will be focused on initiatives to revitalize and expand education and free children’s programs, adult and senior workshops, exhibitions, theater productions, live entertainment, events, and programs that support and engage our community. Given the complete elimination of State of Florida arts funding this fiscal year and the singular role the Art Center and Arts Center Theatre play in the community, the need for support is greater than ever.
