Redefining Recreation: Hideaway Beach Club Starts Construction of New State-of-the-Art Sports and Wellness Center Following Hurricane

[August 13, Marco Island, Fla.] -- Hideaway Beach Club hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony event for the start of construction for their new state-of-the-art sports and wellness center on August 13 at Noon. The milestone was marked by a celebratory kick-off event where City Staff and Club Members of Hideaway Beach Club gathered to watch the momentous occasion.

Following damage from Hurricane Ian and subsequent fire, the forty-year-old sports center has been removed to pave way for a new, 29,000 square-foot sports and wellness center redefining recreation for the community. The redesigned center will feature state-of-the-art amenities aimed at enhancing the lives and experiences of Club Members. Enhancements include physical therapy facilities, virtual golf bays, a technology-forward marketplace and a dedicated Pilates center. These upgrades are designed to cater towards the needs of current and future Club Members, while offering a new modern and diverse environment for sports and wellness.

Construction is already underway with an expected completion date of September 2025. The new sports and wellness center is changing the landscape of redefining sports and wellness for the community.
