Collier County Board of County Commissioners Declare a State of Emergency
The Collier County Board of County Commissioners declared a State of Emergency in Collier County due to Hurricane Helene. Coastal Flooding & Storm Surge is the main concern along the Gulf Coast. The highest probabilities for tropical storm-force winds are along the Gulf Coast and adjacent waters.
As this storm develops, it will feature a large area of impact and a fast northward movement.
- Currently, there are no evacuation orders, and Emergency Management states that at this time, no evacuation shelters are planned.
