A fixture of South Florida's premier dance world, Miami City Ballet (MCB) has offered exceptional ballet programming since its founding in 1985. The dance company has received international acclaim and has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. The accompanying Miami City Ballet School, established in 1995, furthers the ballet company's mission of nurturing high-level dance talent. This February, Miami City Ballet returns to Hayes Hall to offer an exciting program featuring both classically inspired dance and innovative choreography from some of ballet's most promising young stars, including MCB School resident choreographer Durante Verzola. The audience is sure to be dazzled by this elegant evening of first-class ballet. All Miami City Ballet performances include a Dance Prelude at 7 pm.
