Picayune Strand Festival in the Forest

The Florida Forest Service will be holding a fun day of activities at Picayune Strand State Forest on November 16, 2024 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. If you have heard of the forest or have not, come on out for a fun day of activities.  At 10:00 am, there will be a 2-mile fun run on forest trails, followed by guided hikes, guided bike rides and the opportunity to meet Smokey Bear and find out about other fun activities in the forest or about the environment from our partner organizations.  The event will take place at the Equestrian Campground located at 2121 52nd Ave. SE, Naples, FL 34117.  To get there, take Everglades Blvd. south from Golden Gate Blvd. and head south over I-75.  From there, follow the signs.  The event is free and dog friendly (if the dogs are on-leash).
