Naples Yacht Club

The Naples Yacht Club was founded in 1947, two years before the town of Naples officially became a city, "to encourage the sport of yachting, to promote the science of seamanship and navigation, to promote the social welfare, entertainment and diversity of its members, and to provide and maintain a suitable clubhouse, anchorage and facilities for recreation and use of its members." Membership has grown from three founding yachtsmen to over 500, and the original spirit of camaraderie and goodwill are stronger than ever. NYC is a Platinum Club of America and achieved Distinguished Emerald Club of the World Status in 2014.
