Artists are encouraged to ponder the spaces we inhabit and the worlds we carry within us. Places We Carry asks artists to consider the people, landscapes and experiences that remain with us long after we have left them behind. These remembered places, real or imagined, become emotional landscapes through which we understand belonging, displacement, heritage, the passage of time and ourselves.
