Mummy-mia, here we go again! The Continental's next Craftsman Lunch Series event takes place Saturday, Oct. 20, just a bit before the clock strikes 12 (noon, that is) – from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the restaurant's Bull Room, a favorite guest haunt. The event theme is a thriller: Goulish Boo-ze Creations, featuring festive Halloween/harvest-inspired cocktails and complementary small plates scared up by Chef Andrew Wicklander. Food: roasted beets, citrus
Cocktail: Smoking Cauldron - vodka, shimmery berry liqueur
Food: squash soup, foie gras and mushroom crostini
Cocktail: Pumpkin Beermosa - pumpkin beer, Continental pumpkin syrup, caramel
Food: pork belly, sweet and spicy slaw
Cocktail: Tiki Graveyard - rum, orange, pineapple, blackberries, black sugar
Food: spiced pumpkin fritters, candied pepitas
Cocktail: Chilling White Widow - gin, coconut, cream, cardamom, lemon, lime
